Hello there! Thank you for checking out my profile. I go by the name fabaulti in fandom spaces. What you should know about me is that I'm 25 years old and I go by he/him/his pronouns.

I hop from fandom to fandom quite a bit and it's rare to see me staying in one more than a few months at a time. Generally, I come back to my previous fandoms after a while.

A semi-comprehensive list of my past and present fandoms and ships can be found just below, in the Interests section of this page. I try my best to keep it up to date and complete, but I always feel like something is missing.

If you find anything that also interests you and would like to discuss it or just make a new fandom friend, don't hesitate to hit me up. I'm generally too shy to start conversations, but I'm thrilled when other people do it. You can interact with me via my journal entries, through comments, or via email or discord. Anything's fine, honestly. I check them all periodically.

Please note that I am what some people might consider a proshipper. I don't actively participate in fandom discourse, but my stance is pretty clear: I think regardless of whether fanfiction affects or doesn't affect reality (and the topic of discussion is very vast and hardly exhaustible), fiction should remain a safe medium to explore dark and taboo topics. Entertainment, catharsis, it doesn't really matter the reason behind writing a piece of media when it comes to its right to exist.

If this bothers you that's completely fine. You are free to put an end to any further interaction with me, as I do not to further debate this topic. I respect your stance and I kindly ask you to respect mine.

JOURNAL AND COMMENT POLICY

I tend to keep my personal life separate from my fannish interest so I use my journal accordingly. Here you can find thoughts on the media I'm consuming, meta, rants or updates regarding my fannish activities and fanwork.

Most of my entries are public, but the NSFW ones are locked for my access list. If you're over 18 and would like access to the entirety of my journal, I will gladly provide it to you.

I don't have a posting schedule. Instead, I post whenever something worth writing comes to me but I do aim for at least one post per month, even if that doesn't always work.

Since this is a personal journal, even though I don't use it for personal journaling, it does contain my own thoughts and ideas regarding fandom and fannish experiences. You might not agree with everything I say (hell, I don't even agree with stuff I've said in the past anymore!), and that's perfectly fine. If anything I say upsets or triggers you in any way, you are free to leave my page and not subject yourself to content that might be harmful for you. If you'd like to discuss anything that you might deem wrong, or want further clarification on something I said, civil and respectful discourse/debates are cool with me!

I accept any and every kind of feedback, including:

    - comments/feedback from people regardless of their subscription status; you don't have to be subscribed to my journal in order to comment or interact with me. you've found me on the latest things or network page? cool! don't hesitate to come and say hi if anything sparks your interest.

    - comments/feedback on older entries; don't let the date posted stop you from interacting with what I post. I certainly don't mind people showing interest in my old thoughts and ideas, even if I might have outgrown them.

    - comments/feedback of any length; whether it's a two page essay or a simple "+1", they're all welcomed here.

    - comments/feedback regarding a single, specific part of an entry; My entries, especially the updates, tend to span across multiple fandoms or interests, so cherry picking what you want to interact with from them is totally fine!

    - basically any kind of feedback or comment is appreciated, as long as it's not left there with malicious intent (e.g. trolling, harassment aimed towards me or other commenters, bullying, discrimination)

FANWORKS & BLANKET PERMISSION

I mostly write fic and sometimes make digital fanart. You can find all the things I've written on my website or archived on AO3.

Right now I'm mostly writing for the InuYasha fandom, but I also have a few Star Wars fanfics plotted out. I might actually get to writing them once other obligations stop being so pressing.

Would you ever like to remix, transform or write a sequel/prequel/spin-off any of my works, you don't have to ask for any kind of permission. I only ask you to link it back to me (if you post it on AO3 please refer to me via the 'remix' field) and make sure it stays noncommercial.

Unfortunately, I do not accept translation request any of my fanworks.

If you'd like to podfic any of my fics please know that I'm very honored. By all means, go for it, but please ask first. It's very unlikely that I would refuse.

WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FIND ME

I have an account on most relevant fandom spaces, but I only use a few. You can find the relevant links here, on my profile. My handle is fabaulti almost everywhere so if you encounter this name, chances are you've found me.

I mostly reside on my neocities website.

As previously stated, I use my AO3 to archive my fanworks (and also consume ungodly amounts of fanfiction and shower authors with love and long comments). Some of them get posted on FanFiction.Net too, but only the SFW, tamer ones.

Everything I post on dreamwidth gets crossposted on livejournal too, but I hardly check the website.

Likewise, most of my tumblr posts also reside on pillowfort. I use those two for posting gifs and other edits. I also reblog pretty fanart and random fannish things.

I don't tweet much because I don't really get how twitter works but I do find myself occasionally mindlessly scrolling through the app and retweeting pretty fanart or memes.

If you wish to contact me directly, email or discord is the way!
